Tron TRX deposits taking 45 minutes at BetWhale despite 3 second block times

Question

Been testing Tron deposits at BetWhale since they added TRX support last month. Network shows 3 second block confirmations but my deposits consistently take 40-45 minutes to credit.

Sent 500 TRX yesterday at 2:15 PM, transaction confirmed on Tronscan within 15 seconds, but didn't hit my balance until 3:02 PM. This defeats the purpose of using Tron for speed.

**Anyone else seeing similar delays?** Their support claims they need 20 confirmations which seems excessive for a network this stable.

This is why I avoid newer altcoin support at most casinos. They add the deposit option but don't optimize their backend processing.

Wild Casino had similar issues when they first added Litecoin - took them 3 months to reduce confirmation requirements from 12 to 3 blocks.

BetWhale probably being overly cautious with a newer integration. Give it a few months and they'll likely reduce those confirmation requirements.

Had the exact same issue last week with a 200 TRX deposit. Transaction was solid on the blockchain but BetWhale took forever to process it.

Compare that to Ignition where my Bitcoin deposits credit after 1 confirmation (usually 8-12 minutes). Makes no sense that a faster network takes longer to process.

Might stick with BTC until they fix their TRX processing times.

20 confirmations for Tron is absolutely ridiculous. That's like requiring 20 Bitcoin confirmations - completely overkill for the risk level.

Most exchanges only need 1-3 TRX confirmations. BetWhale's risk management team needs to update their parameters.

**Pro tip:** Use USDT-TRC20 instead if you want Tron network speeds. Same 3 second blocks but most sites only need 1-2 confirmations for stablecoin deposits.

Experienced this exact issue during their welcome bonus period. 300 TRX deposit took 38 minutes while my bonus timer was counting down.

Ended up missing the deposit deadline by 6 minutes because of their slow processing. Support credited the bonus manually but shouldn't have to jump through hoops.

Sticking with Ethereum deposits there despite higher fees - at least ETH processing is predictable at 15 minutes.

**Update:** Reached out to BetWhale support again with specific transaction hashes. They confirmed 20 confirmation requirement but said they're reviewing it.

Apparently their payment processor (not BetWhale directly) sets these parameters. Similar to how some Bitcoin casinos are stuck with whatever their third-party processor requires.

Will test again in a month and report back if anything changes.
