Ripple XRP withdrawal fees 20 XRP at Ignition vs 0.00001 XRP network cost why 2 million percent markup

Just tried to withdraw 100 XRP from Ignition Casino and they're charging **20 XRP as a withdrawal fee**. That's literally 20% of my withdrawal amount.

Checked the actual Ripple network and XRP transactions cost around 0.00001 XRP (that's one hundred-thousandth of an XRP). Even being generous with exchange processing costs, we're talking maybe 0.1 XRP maximum.

This seems completely unreasonable compared to other networks. Bitcoin fees are high but at least there's actual network congestion to justify it. XRP was literally designed for cheap, fast transfers.

Anyone else seeing these insane XRP fees across other brands? Is this just Ignition or industry-wide gouging?

**The fee structure makes zero sense from a technical perspective.** XRP settles in 3-5 seconds with guaranteed finality - there's no mempool congestion, no variable gas prices, nothing to justify these massive fees.

Compare this to Ethereum where you might actually pay $20+ in gas during network congestion, but at least that money goes to validators securing the network. With XRP, the casino is just pocketing 99.999% of that "fee."

Lucky Creek actually has reasonable XRP fees at 2 XRP, still high but not completely insane. Might be worth checking them out if you prefer XRP over other coins.

Ignition's XRP fees are brutal, been avoiding that coin there for months. Switched to Bitcoin Cash for smaller withdrawals - their BCH fee is 0.001 BCH which works out way better percentage-wise.

Tried BetOnline last month and their XRP fee was 15 XRP, so slightly better but still highway robbery. The network fee argument is complete BS when you can send XRP between wallets for practically nothing.

Stick to BTC if you're moving larger amounts, or find a casino that actually respects XRP's low-cost design.

This is exactly why I stopped using XRP at crypto casinos entirely. The whole point of Ripple was instant, cheap transfers, but these sites charge like it's some premium service.

Wild Casino was charging 25 XRP last time I checked - even worse than Ignition. Meanwhile I can send the same amount between Binance and my hardware wallet for 0.00001 XRP like you mentioned.

It's pure profit padding. They know most players don't research actual network costs and just accept whatever fee structure they post.

Had the same shock at Super Slots - 18 XRP withdrawal fee on a 75 XRP cashout. Ended up leaving the funds there until I could build up a larger balance to make the percentage less painful.

The customer service rep told me "XRP processing requires special handling" which is complete nonsense. It's literally one of the easiest cryptocurrencies to process automatically.

Started using Litecoin instead at most sites. LTC fees are still marked up but not to this ridiculous degree.
