Monero XMR deposits accepted at crypto casinos but zero withdrawal options why privacy coin double standard

Been testing privacy coin support across multiple crypto casinos and noticed a weird pattern. Wild Casino, Cafe Casino, and BetWhale all accept Monero XMR deposits without issues - funds show up in 10 confirmations like clockwork.

But when you try to withdraw? "Monero withdrawals temporarily unavailable" or "Contact support for alternative withdrawal methods." Same story at all three.

This makes zero sense from a technical standpoint. If they can process incoming XMR transactions, they obviously have wallet infrastructure. Why block outgoing transactions? Are they converting all XMR deposits to BTC/ETH internally and can't reverse the process?

Anyone else hit this wall with privacy coins? Zcash ZEC seems to have similar issues.

Hit the same thing at Super Slots with Monero last month. Deposited 2.5 XMR, won about 4 XMR total, then got told "regulatory compliance requires BTC or LTC withdrawal only."

Think it's about transaction tracking for their compliance team. Privacy coins make it impossible to audit fund flows, so they probably convert everything to transparent blockchains internally. Deposit conversion is easy - withdrawal means they'd have to buy XMR on exchanges which creates paper trails they want to avoid.

Ended up taking BTC withdrawal. Added 2 extra days but better than being stuck.

Ignition Casino actually explains this in their terms if you dig deep enough. They state "privacy coin deposits converted to USD equivalent upon receipt" and "withdrawals processed in BTC, LTC, or BCH only regardless of deposit method."

At least they're upfront about it. The other casinos should just remove XMR from their deposit options instead of this bait-and-switch approach. Creates unnecessary confusion when players assume they can withdraw what they deposited.

This is standard practice, not a bug. Most crypto casinos use third-party payment processors like CoinsPaid or NOWPayments that handle the blockchain stuff. These processors accept privacy coins but immediately convert to stablecoins or major cryptos.

The casino never actually holds your XMR - they get USDT or BTC equivalent. When you withdraw, they can only send what they actually have in their wallets.

BetOnline was honest about this when I asked support directly. They said "all deposits converted to house currency within 30 minutes." Wish more casinos would just say this upfront instead of making it a surprise at withdrawal time.

The real issue is exchange liquidity. Privacy coins have way less trading volume than BTC/ETH, so casinos would need to maintain separate XMR hot wallets and deal with slippage when converting winnings back.

Much easier to convert everything to Bitcoin and process all withdrawals from a single BTC wallet. Lucky Tiger support told me they'd need minimum $50k weekly XMR volume to justify maintaining separate Monero withdrawal infrastructure.

Stick to Bitcoin or Ethereum if you want seamless deposit/withdrawal matching. Privacy coins are deposit-only at 90% of crypto casinos for these operational reasons.
