Been tracking Litecoin withdrawal fees across different brands and Ignition Casino charges 2.5 LTC for LTC withdrawals. Just checked the Litecoin network and current transaction fees are around 0.001 LTC (roughly $0.08 at current prices).

That's a 2,500x markup over actual network costs. My last withdrawal was 15 LTC and paying 2.5 LTC in fees means losing 16.7% just to withdraw. At $85/LTC that's over $200 in fees.

Anyone know why Ignition's LTC fees are this high compared to their Bitcoin fees which seem more reasonable? Other brands charging similar rates or is this an outlier?

    Ignition's LTC fees are brutal. I switched to Bitcoin withdrawals there specifically because of this. Their BTC fee is around 0.0005 BTC which works out to maybe $25-30 depending on price, way better than that 2.5 LTC nonsense.

    BetOnline charges 1 LTC for Litecoin withdrawals, still high but half of Ignition's rate. Might be worth checking them out if you prefer LTC over BTC.

    The high fees might be intentional to push players toward Bitcoin or other cryptos they prefer processing. Some casinos use fee structures to influence player behavior.

    That said, 2.5 LTC is excessive. I've seen Wild Casino charge around 1.5 LTC for Litecoin which is still high but more manageable. Have you tried reaching out to Ignition support about potentially reducing the fee for higher withdrawal amounts?

    This is exactly why I stick to Bitcoin despite preferring Litecoin's faster confirmation times. The withdrawal fee math just doesn't work with these inflated LTC rates.

    Cafe Casino was charging 2 LTC last time I checked, so Ignition isn't alone in this pricing. Seems like most US-facing casinos haven't adjusted their Litecoin fees to reflect actual network costs.

    I've noticed the same pattern across multiple brands. Super Slots charges 2 LTC, Slots.lv is at 1.8 LTC. The only explanation that makes sense is they're factoring in administrative costs and profit margins rather than just covering network fees.

    For smaller withdrawals under 5 LTC, these fees make Litecoin completely impractical. Bitcoin ends up being cheaper despite the slower confirmation times.
