Litecoin LTC withdrawal fees 8 LTC at most casinos vs 0.001 LTC network cost why 8000x markup

Been tracking Litecoin withdrawal fees across different brands and the markup is insane. Most casinos charge 8-10 LTC for withdrawals when the actual Litecoin network fee is around 0.001 LTC.

Current fees I've verified:

  • Super Slots: 8 LTC withdrawal fee
  • Wild Casino: 9 LTC withdrawal fee
  • Cafe Casino: 8.5 LTC withdrawal fee
  • Actual LTC network cost: 0.001 LTC

That's roughly 8000x markup over network costs. Even accounting for processing overhead, this seems excessive compared to Bitcoin fees which are maybe 2-3x network cost at most places. Anyone found better LTC withdrawal rates?

Noticed the same thing with LTC fees. That's why I stick to Bitcoin even though Litecoin confirms faster. The 8 LTC fee basically eats into any decent win unless you're withdrawing huge amounts.

BetOnline charges 7 LTC which is slightly better but still ridiculous. Makes no sense when LTC was supposed to be the cheaper alternative to Bitcoin.

I actually switched from Litecoin to Ethereum for this exact reason. Even with gas fees, ETH withdrawals often cost less in dollar terms than these flat LTC rates.

Ignition charges 8.5 LTC too. At current prices that's like $75 just to withdraw your own money. The network fee being under a penny makes it feel like highway robbery.

The flat fee structure kills small withdrawals completely. If you're trying to cash out $200-300, that 8 LTC fee represents 25-30% of your withdrawal.

I've started batching my wins and only withdrawing larger amounts to make the fee percentage more reasonable. Still annoying that we have to work around these inflated costs.

Lucky Creek actually has lower LTC fees - around 5 LTC last time I checked. Still way above network cost but at least 35% cheaper than the 8 LTC standard.

Pro tip: Check the fee schedule before depositing. Some places bury the withdrawal fees deep in terms but they add up fast if you're not a one-and-done player.

Thanks for the Lucky Creek info - 5 LTC is still a 5000x markup but better than 8000x I guess. The transparency issue is real too. Half these sites don't even list crypto fees upfront.

Might be worth documenting actual fees vs advertised "low crypto fees" marketing. Players deserve to know the real cost structure before committing funds.
