Litecoin LTC withdrawal fees 0.05 LTC at Ignition vs 0.001 LTC network cost why 5000% markup

Question

Just processed my first LTC withdrawal from Ignition and they charged me **0.05 LTC** as a withdrawal fee. Current network fee for LTC transactions is around 0.001 LTC according to bitinfocharts.

That's a 5000% markup over actual network costs. I've withdrawn LTC from other crypto services and typically see fees between 0.002-0.005 LTC maximum.

Anyone else notice this? For context, 0.05 LTC is about $3.50 at current prices while the actual network fee is maybe $0.07. That's a massive difference for what should be a simple blockchain transaction.

Is there a reason Ignition charges so much more than the actual cost, or are they just padding profits with withdrawal fees?

That said, 0.05 LTC does seem excessive. Wild Casino charges 0.02 LTC for Litecoin withdrawals and Cafe Casino is around 0.015 LTC. Ignition's fee structure has always been on the higher side across all cryptos.

Might be worth switching to Bitcoin or Ethereum if you're doing regular withdrawals there.
