Litecoin LTC withdrawal fees 15 LTC at Ignition vs 0.001 LTC network cost why 1500000% markup

Just checked my Ignition account and they're charging 15 LTC for Litecoin withdrawals. Network fees are currently 0.001 LTC according to BitInfoCharts.

That's a 1,500,000% markup over actual network costs. At current LTC prices (~$73), they're charging $1,095 to process a transaction that costs them $0.073.

I've been tracking crypto fees across platforms since 2018 and this might be the highest markup I've documented. Are other Litecoin users seeing similar fees at Ignition? Any explanations for why LTC specifically has such extreme markups compared to their BTC fees?

Noticed the same thing last month. Switched to Bitcoin withdrawals exclusively because of this. Their BTC fee is 0.0005 which is still high but not completely insane like the LTC rate.

Seems like they either don't want LTC withdrawals or haven't updated their fee structure in years. 15 LTC was maybe reasonable when Litecoin was $4 but not at current prices.

I've been using Cafe Casino for Litecoin and their fee is 2 LTC, still high but way better than Ignition's 15 LTC.

Might be worth switching platforms if you prefer LTC. The 13 LTC difference covers a lot of gameplay at current prices.

This is exactly why I stick to Bitcoin. Most casinos have somewhat reasonable BTC fees because it's their main crypto. Alt coins always get hit with crazy markups.

Ignition probably processes way fewer LTC transactions so they jack up the fee to discourage them. Business decision but definitely player-unfriendly.

Checked my withdrawal history and confirmed - paid 15 LTC back in September. Didn't realize how excessive it was until seeing this breakdown.

Wild Casino charges 8 LTC for comparison. Still high but half of Ignition's rate. The markup math is eye-opening when you actually calculate the percentages.

Our Litecoin withdrawal fee reflects operational costs beyond network fees, including security measures, compliance requirements, and manual processing procedures for LTC transactions.

We regularly review our fee structure and appreciate player feedback. Players can always choose Bitcoin for lower withdrawal costs. For specific account questions, please contact our support team directly.
