Been tracking Litecoin processing times across multiple crypto casinos and there's a massive inconsistency that makes no sense technically.

Deposits: All casinos credit LTC deposits after 6 confirmations, which takes roughly 15 minutes (6 × 2.5 minute blocks). Some like Ignition and Wild Casino even credit after 3 confirmations.

Withdrawals: Same casinos take 12-24 hours to process LTC withdrawals to my wallet. BetOnline averaged 18 hours last month, Cafe Casino was 22 hours.

Litecoin network itself processes transactions in 2.5 minutes per block. So why the huge delay gap? Are they manually reviewing every withdrawal or batching them once daily? The technical infrastructure should be identical for both directions.

    Security protocols are different for outbound vs inbound. Most crypto casinos batch withdrawals and require multiple signature approvals for amounts over certain thresholds.

    I've noticed BetOnline processes LTC withdrawals twice daily - around 10 AM and 6 PM EST. If you submit after 6 PM, you're waiting until next morning. Super Slots seems to have a similar schedule but only once daily around noon.

    The delay is intentional fraud prevention. Deposits are one-way money coming to them, so they can afford to credit quickly. Withdrawals are money leaving their control forever.

    Ignition actually states in their terms that crypto withdrawals undergo additional verification beyond the automated deposit system. They're checking for suspicious betting patterns, bonus abuse, multiple accounts, etc.

    Still frustrating when you're a regular player with verified history. Would be nice if they offered expedited processing for established accounts.

    Hot wallet vs cold storage explains everything. Deposits go straight to hot wallets that are connected and ready. Most of your withdrawal funds are in cold storage for security.

    They have to manually move funds from cold storage to hot wallets, get multiple approvals, then broadcast to network. Plus they're probably batching multiple withdrawals together to save on network fees.

    Cafe Casino told me directly their LTC withdrawals are processed in batches every 24 hours during business hours. Weekends add extra delay since fewer staff are approving transactions.

    Check the specific casino's crypto processing page - most are transparent about their schedules now. Wild Casino processes crypto withdrawals Monday-Friday only, so weekend requests sit until Monday.
