Ethereum gas fees spiking to 180 gwei but casinos still charging flat 0.02 ETH withdrawal fees
Network congestion pushed ETH gas fees to 180 gwei yesterday during the NFT mint frenzy. Actual cost for a simple transfer was around 0.003 ETH. Yet I'm seeing the same casinos charging their standard 0.02 ETH withdrawal fee.
Wild Casino: 0.02 ETH flat fee
Super Slots: 0.02 ETH flat fee
BetWhale: 0.015 ETH flat fee
That's a 500-600% markup over actual network costs. I get that they need to cover processing, but this feels excessive when the network is already expensive. Anyone found brands that adjust their ETH fees based on actual gas prices?
