Ethereum EIP-1559 gas burns saving users money but casinos still charging pre-London fork withdrawal fees

Been tracking Ethereum network costs since EIP-1559 launched in August 2021. The London hard fork introduced gas burning which has reduced actual transaction costs by 15-30% depending on network congestion.

Yet I'm seeing the same crypto casinos charging identical withdrawal fees as pre-fork. Wild Casino still wants 0.15 ETH for withdrawals when current gas tracker shows 18 gwei base fee plus 2 gwei tip = roughly 0.004 ETH for a standard transfer.

That's a 3,650% markup on current network reality. Are any casinos actually passing EIP-1559 savings to players or just pocketing the difference?

Same story at BetOnline - they're charging 0.12 ETH for withdrawals but I checked etherscan and network fees are sitting at 0.0035 ETH for priority transactions. That's still a 3,300% markup.

Switched to Bitcoin exclusively because at least BTC withdrawal fees somewhat track mempool congestion. These ETH fees feel like straight profit-taking at this point.

Cafe Casino dropped their ETH withdrawal fee from 0.18 to 0.15 ETH about 6 months ago, so some movement but nowhere near proportional to actual network savings.

Meanwhile they added Polygon MATIC withdrawals at 45 MATIC when network cost is literally 0.0011 MATIC. It's like they're using high ETH fees to justify ridiculous markups on other chains too.

The real issue is these casinos probably batch withdrawals anyway. So they're collecting 0.15 ETH from 20 players but only paying one network fee of 0.004 ETH for the batch transaction.

That's 3,000% profit margin just on withdrawal fees before factoring in EIP-1559 savings. No wonder they're not adjusting - it's become a major revenue stream disguised as "network costs."

Super Slots actually has the highest ETH withdrawal fee I've seen at 0.22 ETH. When I contacted support about it being 55x the actual network cost, they said "fees reflect network volatility and processing overhead."

Translation: we're charging whatever we want. Switched to their Bitcoin option which is more reasonable at 0.0008 BTC.

Just checked my Ignition account and they're showing 0.14 ETH withdrawal fee. But here's the kicker - their deposit minimum is only 0.01 ETH.

So you can deposit with 0.01 ETH but need 14x that amount just to withdraw? The math doesn't add up unless you're playing with much larger bankrolls. Forces you to either lose it or switch to a different withdrawal method.
