Dogecoin DOGE withdrawal fees 500 DOGE at BetWhale vs 1 DOGE network cost why 50000% markup

Just tried to withdraw 2,000 DOGE from BetWhale and they're charging a 500 DOGE fee. Checked the Dogecoin network and current fees are around 1 DOGE for standard transactions.

That's a 50,000% markup over actual network costs. Even during high congestion periods, DOGE fees rarely exceed 5-10 DOGE.

Anyone else seeing these inflated DOGE withdrawal fees at BetWhale? Are other casinos charging similar rates or is this specific to them? For comparison, my last Bitcoin withdrawal there had reasonable fees relative to network costs.

BetWhale's DOGE fees are brutal. Withdrew 1,500 DOGE last month and got hit with the same 500 DOGE fee. That's like $40 for a withdrawal that costs the casino maybe 8 cents.

Switched to using Bitcoin there instead. Their BTC withdrawal fees are actually reasonable - around 0.0005 BTC which matches network rates during normal congestion.

Wild Casino charges 50 DOGE for withdrawals, which is still high but way more reasonable than BetWhale's 500 DOGE fee. Cafe Casino was around 25 DOGE last time I checked.

Seems like BetWhale is pricing people out of DOGE withdrawals intentionally. Maybe they don't want to deal with the transaction volume since DOGE is popular for smaller amounts.

These excessive DOGE fees are why I stick to Litecoin for smaller withdrawals. LTC fees at most casinos are 0.01-0.02 LTC which is reasonable.

BetWhale probably figures DOGE users won't calculate the percentage markup. 500 DOGE sounds small until you realize it's $40+ for a transaction that costs them under a dollar.

Ignition Casino charges 100 DOGE for withdrawals, still high but not as extreme as BetWhale. Super Slots was 75 DOGE when I withdrew there in October.

The markup problem exists everywhere but BetWhale takes it to another level. Their DOGE withdrawal fee is higher than some casinos' Bitcoin fees.

Thanks for the comparison data. Wild Casino at 50 DOGE still seems high but at least it's 10x better than BetWhale's rate.

Going to try smaller test withdrawals at different casinos to map out the actual DOGE fee structure. Will report back with findings for anyone else dealing with this markup issue.
