Dogecoin DOGE withdrawal fees 500 DOGE at BetOnline vs 1 DOGE network cost why 50000% markup

Just noticed BetOnline charges **500 DOGE** for Dogecoin withdrawals. I checked the Dogecoin network and actual transaction fees are around **1 DOGE** right now.

That's a 50,000% markup over network costs. Even accounting for operational overhead, this seems excessive compared to their Bitcoin fees which run about 300% over network cost.

Anyone else notice this pattern with DOGE specifically? Other casinos I've tested charge 50-100 DOGE max for withdrawals. Is there a technical reason BetOnline needs such high DOGE fees, or is this just profit padding on a meme coin they think players won't notice?

I've withdrawn DOGE from Ignition and Slots.lv recently. Ignition charged 75 DOGE, Slots.lv was 100 DOGE. Both processed within 2 hours.

BetOnline's 500 DOGE fee is absolutely ridiculous for a coin that moves so cheaply on-chain. You're better off converting to Bitcoin there or using a different casino entirely for DOGE play.

Been tracking this across multiple sites. Super Slots charges 200 DOGE, Wild Casino is 150 DOGE, and Cafe Casino runs 100 DOGE for withdrawals.

That said, 500 DOGE is still brutal. I stick to Bitcoin withdrawals there - much more reasonable at 0.0025 BTC when network fees are around 0.0008 BTC.

Update: Contacted BetOnline support about this. They confirmed 500 DOGE is their standard fee and cited "blockchain processing costs and security measures."

When I pointed out network fees are 1 DOGE, they said operational overhead includes wallet management and compliance. Still doesn't justify a 50,000% markup in my opinion.

Switching my DOGE play to Ignition based on the feedback here.
