Chainlink LINK withdrawal fees 20 LINK at Super Slots vs 0.001 LINK network cost

Just tried withdrawing some LINK from Super Slots and nearly choked on the fee structure. They're charging 20 LINK as a withdrawal fee when the actual Ethereum network cost for a LINK transfer is around 0.001 LINK at current gas prices.

That's a 20,000x markup over actual network costs. My 45 LINK withdrawal became 25 LINK after fees - that's 44% gone to the house.

Checked Etherscan and confirmed standard LINK transfers cost about $0.50 worth of gas. At $14 LINK price, their 20 LINK fee equals $280 for a transaction that costs them fifty cents.

Anyone else getting hit with these inflated LINK fees? Other brands doing similar markups on ERC-20 tokens?

Been tracking this across multiple brands. Wild Casino charges 15 LINK, Cafe Casino hits you for 25 LINK. The ERC-20 fee game is brutal.

Stick to Bitcoin if you can - most places charge 0.0005-0.001 BTC which is actually reasonable compared to network fees. LINK and other tokens are pure profit centers for these operators.

This is exactly why I moved away from altcoin deposits entirely. Started with LINK because I thought lower gas fees would mean cheaper withdrawals - completely backwards logic apparently.

Ignition charges 12 LINK which is still highway robbery but at least not quite as bad as Super Slots. The whole industry seems to have agreed that ERC-20 tokens are free money from withdrawal fees.

Pro tip: Convert your LINK to Bitcoin or Litecoin inside the casino before withdrawing. Most places let you swap between cryptos in your account balance.

Super Slots BTC withdrawal fee is 0.0008 BTC (about $32) vs their 20 LINK fee (about $280). Sure you lose a bit on the exchange spread but way better than getting destroyed on withdrawal fees.

Tested this method three times now and saved hundreds in fees.

The markup percentages are insane but this isn't unique to crypto casinos. Traditional online gambling has always loaded up backend fees - remember those $25 wire transfer fees for $100 withdrawals?

At least with crypto you can see exactly what the network actually costs. BetOnline's LINK fee is 18 LINK if anyone's comparing. Still ridiculous but slightly less than Super Slots.

Thanks for the conversion tip Mike - never thought about using their internal exchange to dodge withdrawal fees. Just checked and Super Slots does let you convert LINK to BTC at about 0.5% spread.

Even with conversion costs, you save massive amounts compared to their LINK withdrawal highway robbery. Going to test this on my next cashout and report back with exact numbers.
