Celsius CEL token deposits at crypto casinos - network shutdown but tokens still tradeable

Been holding CEL tokens since before the Celsius bankruptcy and noticed they're still trading on exchanges at around $0.15. Checked my usual crypto casinos and most don't list CEL as a deposit option anymore.

Wild Casino still shows CEL in their deposit menu but when I try to generate an address, it errors out. BetWhale completely removed it from their crypto list last month.

Anyone successfully depositing CEL tokens anywhere? The ERC-20 contract is still active and transfers work fine on-chain, but seems like most sites pulled support after the Celsius collapse in 2022.

    CEL deposits have been dead at every casino I've checked since mid-2022. Even sites that still show it in menus usually have broken deposit generation.

    Stick with BTC or ETH - those work everywhere and you won't get stuck with tokens sitting in limbo. I learned this lesson with some smaller altcoins that got delisted without warning.

    Super Slots removed CEL support completely in August 2022 after the Celsius bankruptcy filing. Their support told me it was a "business decision" to avoid regulatory complications.

    Most reputable casinos won't touch tokens from bankrupt companies, even if the token contract still functions. Too much legal risk for them to process deposits from distressed assets.

    You could try converting CEL to USDT or ETH on a DEX first, then deposit the stable coin. That's what I did with some FTT tokens I was stuck with.

    Uniswap still has CEL/ETH liquidity, though the spreads are pretty wide. Better to take the conversion hit than have unusable tokens sitting around.

    Ignition Casino never supported CEL deposits even before the Celsius issues. They stick to major coins only - BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH.

    I'd be surprised if any US-facing casino adds CEL support at this point. The regulatory uncertainty around bankruptcy proceedings makes it too risky for operators.

    Thanks for the reality check everyone. Guess I'll swap these CEL tokens for ETH and move on.

    Still crazy that the token trades at decent volume on exchanges but crypto casinos won't touch it. Shows how different the risk tolerance is between DeFi and regulated gaming operators.
