Cardano ADA withdrawal fees 25 ADA at Ignition vs 0.17 ADA network cost why 14600% markup

Just checked Ignition Casino withdrawal fees and they're charging 25 ADA for Cardano withdrawals. Current network fee is around 0.17 ADA according to AdaLite and Yoroi wallets.

That's a 14,600% markup over actual network costs. I've been tracking crypto casino fees across platforms since 2018 and this seems excessive even by industry standards.

Anyone else noticed this with their ADA withdrawals? Other casinos charging similar rates or is Ignition an outlier here? My last BTC withdrawal from them was reasonable at 0.0005 BTC so wondering if this is ADA-specific.

Stick with Bitcoin withdrawals at Ignition. Their BTC fee is 0.0005 which works out to about $22-25 depending on price. Way more reasonable than that ADA nonsense.

I've never understood why people use altcoins at casinos anyway. Bitcoin withdrawals clear in 2-4 hours consistently and the fees are predictable.

BetOnline charges 15 ADA for withdrawals which is still a huge markup but at least 40% less than Ignition. Wild Casino was asking 30 ADA last time I checked.

The real issue is these casinos set their withdrawal fees months ago when ADA was higher and never adjusted them down. Same thing happened with DOGE fees staying at 500+ even when the coin dropped 80%.

This is exactly why I moved my ADA off-exchange and just use stablecoins for casino play now. USDT withdrawals at most places are 15-25 USDT which is still a markup but at least it's a fixed dollar amount.

Cardano network fees are so low because of the UTXO model, but casinos treat all altcoins the same when setting their fee structures.

Check if Ignition has minimum withdrawal amounts for ADA too. Some casinos set high fees but low minimums, others do the opposite.

I've found that timing withdrawals during network congestion can sometimes get casinos to process them faster, even if the fees stay the same. Not ideal but at least you're not waiting 48+ hours on top of paying the markup.
