Cardano ADA deposits working at 2 casinos but both block ADA withdrawals why the double standard

Been tracking Cardano ADA support across crypto casinos since late 2021. Currently Wild Casino and BetWhale both accept ADA deposits - Wild Casino minimum 50 ADA, BetWhale minimum 25 ADA. Both process deposits within 3-5 confirmations.

The problem: Neither casino allows ADA withdrawals. Support at both sites gives the same generic response about "technical limitations" and suggests converting to BTC or ETH first.

Cardano network fees are around 0.17 ADA per transaction. Processing is straightforward. Anyone know the real reason behind this deposit-only policy? Other networks like DOT and ATOM have similar setups at these brands.

Same issue at BetWhale with my ADA deposits. Customer service told me they're "working on withdrawal integration" but that was 8 months ago. Meanwhile I'm stuck converting to BTC and eating the exchange spread plus Bitcoin's higher network fees.

Started just depositing BTC directly now. Not worth the hassle when you can't get your ADA back out clean.

This is pretty common across crypto casinos unfortunately. They'll accept deposits in altcoins to capture that market but only offer withdrawals in major coins like BTC and ETH. Probably comes down to liquidity management - easier to hold and process Bitcoin than maintain hot wallets for dozens of different tokens.

I've seen the same pattern with ALGO, XTZ, and several others. Deposit works fine, withdrawal forces conversion.

Technical limitations usually means they don't want to maintain the infrastructure for two-way ADA transactions. Setting up deposit addresses is straightforward, but withdrawal processing requires more complex wallet management and security protocols.

Also consider regulatory angles - some jurisdictions have stricter rules about facilitating certain cryptocurrency withdrawals versus just accepting deposits. Could be compliance-related rather than purely technical.

Had this exact frustration with ADA at Wild Casino last month. Deposited 200 ADA, hit a decent win on slots, then discovered the withdrawal limitation. Support offered to process as Litecoin instead but the conversion rate they quoted was 2% below market.

Ended up taking the hit since LTC withdrawals are much faster than their Bitcoin processing times. Still annoying that this isn't clearly disclosed before depositing.

Update: Reached out to both casinos directly about timeline for ADA withdrawal support. Wild Casino response was non-committal "under review for future implementation." BetWhale was more specific - they're apparently waiting for their payment processor to add full ADA integration, estimated Q2 2024.

For now sticking with Bitcoin and Ethereum at these brands. At least the deposit-only policy is consistent across both platforms.
