Bitcoin price volatility during casino sessions affecting real balance value by 15% in 3 hours
Had a weird experience yesterday that got me thinking about BTC volatility during casino sessions. Started playing slots at Ignition with 0.05 BTC when Bitcoin was at $42,800 (so $2,140 balance). Three hours later, finished up 0.008 BTC to 0.058 BTC total.
But Bitcoin dropped to $37,200 during my session. So my "winning" 0.058 BTC was actually worth $2,157 - less than my starting dollar value even though I won in BTC terms.
Anyone else track this? Do you think in BTC terms only, or does the USD volatility mess with your head during longer sessions? Some days a 0.01 BTC win feels huge, other days it feels like nothing depending on the price action.
