Bitcoin mempool congestion causing 72 hour withdrawal delays at multiple casinos despite paying premium fees

The Bitcoin mempool has been absolutely brutal this week. I've got withdrawals stuck at three different casinos for 72+ hours now, despite all of them charging their usual premium withdrawal fees (0.0015-0.002 BTC per transaction).

Checked the actual network fees on mempool.space and transactions are clearing at 15-20 sat/vB, but my casino withdrawals are broadcasting at 8-12 sat/vB. So we're paying $60-80 in withdrawal fees but casinos are only spending $15-20 to actually broadcast.

Anyone else seeing similar delays this week? Wondering if casinos batch withdrawals during congestion or if they're just pocketing the fee difference.

Same boat here. BetOnline withdrawal from Tuesday still pending. Paid their 0.0018 BTC fee but tracking shows they broadcast at 10 sat/vB when priority was 22 sat/vB.

This is exactly why I stick to one casino now - at least with consistency you know what to expect. Some casinos will bump the fee if you contact support, others just tell you to wait it out.

I've noticed Ignition actually adjusts their broadcast fees during congestion. Had a withdrawal last month that went through in 4 hours during similar network conditions.

The key difference: they monitor mempool conditions and bump fees automatically instead of using static rates. Not all casinos do this though - most just batch everything at low priority and hope for the best.

This is why I switched to Litecoin for withdrawals. Bitcoin fees and delays have become unpredictable, especially during bull runs.

Wild Casino processes LTC withdrawals in under 30 minutes consistently, and their network fee is only 0.001 LTC versus 0.002 BTC. Sure, you need to convert back to BTC if that's your preference, but the time savings are worth it.

Pro tip: Check the casino's blockchain explorer before withdrawing. Some casinos show their last few transactions with actual sat/vB rates used.

Cafe Casino has been pretty transparent about this - their Bitcoin withdrawals page shows current network conditions and estimated processing time. When mempool is congested, they recommend waiting or switching to ETH/LTC temporarily.

Update: Two of my three withdrawals finally confirmed after 84 hours. The third casino (won't name names) is still showing "processing" despite the Bitcoin network clearing the backlog.

Starting to think some casinos use congestion as an excuse to delay payouts beyond what the network actually requires. The transparency suggestions here are solid - definitely checking mempool conditions before my next withdrawal.
