Bitcoin withdrawal stuck at BetOnline for 8 days despite paying 150 sat/vB premium fee

Submitted a Bitcoin withdrawal at BetOnline 8 days ago for 0.12 BTC. They charged me a 150 sat/vB fee which is way above current network rates (20-30 sat/vB). Transaction shows as "processing" in my account but no TXID provided yet.

Support keeps saying "blockchain congestion" but I can see the mempool is actually pretty clear right now. Anyone else experiencing delays this long at BetOnline? Starting to get concerned since this is a significant amount for me.

That's definitely not normal for BetOnline. I've had 15+ withdrawals there over the past 2 years and the longest was 48 hours during that mempool spike in March. 150 sat/vB should have your transaction confirmed within the next block.

Have you escalated beyond tier 1 support? Sometimes they batch withdrawals but 8 days suggests something else is going on. I'd demand they provide the TXID immediately - once it's broadcast you can track it yourself.

I had a similar issue with BetOnline last month but it was only 4 days. Turned out their hot wallet was running low and they were waiting for a cold storage transfer. They eventually processed it but never communicated what was happening.

Try asking specifically if it's a liquidity issue rather than network congestion. That seemed to get me a more honest answer from their support team.

8 days is unacceptable regardless of the reason. I switched from BetOnline to Ignition partly because of withdrawal inconsistencies like this. At Ignition my Bitcoin withdrawals are usually processed within 6-12 hours, even during busy periods.

Document everything - screenshots of your withdrawal request, support conversations, the fee they charged. If they don't resolve this soon you might need to file a complaint with their licensing authority.

This happened to my friend at BetOnline about 6 months ago. It took nearly 2 weeks but they eventually processed it with an additional "inconvenience bonus" of $50.

The key was getting persistent with support and asking for a supervisor. Don't let them keep giving you the same copy-paste responses about network congestion when you can clearly see that's not the issue.

Update us when this gets resolved. I'm curious if BetOnline is having operational issues or if this is an isolated case. Their Bitcoin processing used to be solid but maybe something changed in their backend systems.

Worst case scenario, if they don't provide the TXID soon, you might want to consider whether the funds are actually still in their possession or if there's a technical issue preventing the broadcast.
